What is a medical-grade filter?
A HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance) filter is rated on the MERV scale. MERV stands for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value.
The ratings on the MERV scale range from 1 to 16, our high performance purifiers are rated as 13 which is medical-grade.
Our filters are combined with patented DNO technology which will capture, kill and convert particles as small as 0.003 microns through the use of a unique catalyst system.
